Flew with this airline to Lanzarote from Cardiff. Surly, rude staff whom treated the holidaymakers with contempt, awful, awful meal, inedible actually, and an old banger aircraft which I presume was airworthy but only just. Didn't have the veggie meal we ordered and bought for one of us and then they expected us to buy sandwiches instead. Took off late and stopped in Seville to refuel though the cabin crew said it was for weather reasons - which was perfect. The flight took nearly 6 hours not 3 1/2 as per brochure and not a free glass of water in sight. Holiday was with Thomas Cook whom use this company. I would recommend you stay well away from this lot as they are not worth risking your holiday enjoyment for. You will spend the holiday worrying if you will get home safely!
Sorry to go on but the company inflight magazine promised so much but delivered on none of it.

| My mam, my dad and I flew from Dublin to Palma this year on the 24th of June. The Flight Was delayed 5 hours and all we got as compensation was a voucher for 5 euro each to spend at the airport. When we finaly boarded our flight, it was alright. The plane was a Boeing 737-800. This wasn't the plane we were supposed to fly on. It had entertainment and comfortable seats. Then we found out at Palma that they'd lost my fathers bag! Once again no compensation. The flight back was horrible. The plane was the 1 we were supposed to fly to Palma on. It was a really old Boeing 737-400. It had no entertainent and the seats were uncomfortable. The plane was really old and I thought it wouldn't get off the ground. It did and we made it to Dublin. Every other time I flew with Futura was great but this time it wasn't as good. |

| My wife and I flew from Cardiff to Lanzarote in December 2006 on a very old Boeing 737-400. The plane was 2 hours late departing. Because of its age and length of runway the plane could not take off fully laden with fuel. We were forced to land at Santiago del Compostella to refuel on the way over. Return flight was also delayed for repairs and this time we were forced to land at Seville for fuel (45 minute stop). Flight attendants were surly and unfriendly. Flight time overall almost 6 hours in total each way versus 3 hours or so on a modern Airbus. Futura are probably the worst airline I have ever flown with and I have no intention of using them again! |
