We flew round trip SFO to Reykjavik (Keflavik). A couple days before our return trip to SFO, Icelandair's plane broke down, resulting in an 8-hour delay of our flight. We called ahead to the airport but were told our return flight was "on time". When we arrived at the airport we were told about the 8-hour delay and given no explanation or compensation. From that moment until we arrived back home in SF we were given horrendous customer service.
I would not fly Icelandair again, and suggest you avoid flying them as well. |

| Travelled from London to Iceland and found the crew to be friendly, helpful and informative. Food was reasonable as was comfort. Only downside was a VERY bumpy landing back in London where the plane appeared to skid on landing!! Would recommend Icelandair especially as you can go to USA from UK with a free dip in the Blue Lagoon, well worth it! |
